Our Area

The Clarksville and Kerr Lake region is known for its friendly atmosphere, scenic beauty, and relaxed pace of life. With a population of around 1,500, Clarksville maintains a close-knit community feel while serving as the hub for lake activity in the area.

Clarksville is the only town located directly on Kerr Lake and serves as the gateway to more than 800 miles of shoreline. The area hosts annual events such as Lake Fest and numerous fishing tournaments throughout the year.

Residents and visitors enjoy nearby Occoneechee State Park, historic downtown streets, and local shops. The region is within reasonable driving distance of Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Richmond, and Virginia Beach. Many homeowners from Northern Virginia and the Washington, D.C. area maintain second homes here.
