Your marketing plan will help distinguish your home form others in the local marketplace, as well as attract prospective buyers to your property. This can include place ads in the newspaper and online, having and open house, and more.
This is a key step in selling your property. If you set your price too low, it can cost you money, but if you set it too high, it will scare away potential buyers. I’m trained to use market information to help you determine the right price for your home.
First thing you’ll want to do is give your home a good cleaning, top to bottom. Applying fresh paint and maintaining the lawn are good boosts to the attractiveness of your property. I can give you more tips on what else to do for your home before showing, and tell you about federal, state, and local disclosure laws.
- Hide your valuables

- You can discuss additional precautionary measures with me
A buyer has made an offer – now it is time to negotiate. I can assist you through this process by helping you arrive at an acceptable price, terms and conditions. Once you have accepted an offer, help keep the deal together by meeting deadlines and criteria, including home inspections, appropriate buyer visits, scheduled deposits and other steps. During this period there may even be a renegotiation of the accepted offer price depending on the outcomes of these visits. You may also need to perform repairs or do additional work to the house as agreed upon in your contract. In addition, you will need to have the house “broom clean” prior to the closing so that the buyer can complete a final walk through. When you finally arrive at the closing table, Karin will make sure that all appropriate tests & information have been provided. Once the money has exchanged hands and all the papers are signed, it’s time to hand over the keys and concentrate on your next big project – getting YOUR new home in order.
